Cover the top and sides of the cake in buttercream. It satisfies all those same notes that the truffle hit: That sweet marzipan flavor balances perfectly when paired with a dark chocolate swiss meringue buttercream. I baked a 9x13 sheet cake, iced it in green and peach buttercream, trimmed , and added flowers.
